In Madness We'll Dwell

No good can come of this...

Tonight is the night, Gentle Readers. The final chapter in our epic Shadowrun/Cthulhu/In Nomine mash-up campaign. Tonight, we drag part of a MIRV through a stargate to ancient Carcosa to stop Hastur from passing from his home to ours. That's right, we're gonna nuke He Who Shall Not Be Named. The outcome of which, of course is that we will all go mad. Or be eaten by Hastur. Or die in a nuclear fire. Or, if we're really, really lucky, all three! I'm sure I'll have a lot to talk about tomorrow. Stay tuned.

PS: Because I love you all, I'll leave you with this. While you listen, imagine a weeping, PTSD suffering Russian cyber-psycho wandering desperately through an alien city seeing the ghosts of dead comrades while praying and looking for a place to put a nuke...

That is an incredibly cool mash-up. Let us know how it turned out!

Will do, Siskoid. The long and short is that we, who were essentially the SR version of "Ghost Hunters" got sucked into this epic battle between the forces of Heaven and the forces of the old ones. There have been fish-men. There have been angels killed. There have been battles with formless spawn involving fire extinguishers. Now we're part of a shady, quasi-governmental, international wetworks group tasked with knocking out the Cthulhu people. Hilarity will ensue.

Pikers! Darkest of the Hillside Thickets does an occasional song that is NOT Mythos related!

Awesome. Gotta love Cthulu games. Remids me of the old Knights of the Dinner Table where the advise of the big guy to the girl was "just stand in the back, close your eyes, and stick your fingers in your ears".
